Ministry Of Tourism Commends Rayliza Ghana for Its Upcoming Made In Ghana Trade Fair in the Volta Region

The Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture has commended Rayliza Ghana for initiating a move to promote Made_In_Ghana in the Volta Region. The Ministry in a letter written by the Assistant Director, Gifty Alidu commended the
Event Chapter of Rayliza Ghana Ltd about its upcoming event dubbed Volta Trade fair 2019 which aims at promoting made in Ghana Agenda.

” I am directed to inform you that the Ministry commends you and wishes to encourage you to continue pursuing the cause Rayliza Ghana is charting in respect of the Volta Trade Fair 2019 event as it is in line with the Government and therefore the Ministry’s policy. We take this opportunity to wish your company well for promoting Made-in-Ghana goods in the Volta Region”

Some other state institutions like the Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC), Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) and etc, are also collaborating and partnering Rayliza Ghana in organizing the event

This event is in pursuant to support locally owned and operated businesses, create consumer appeal to high-quality and locally manufactured products; not only will it help to increase exponentially the trade traffic of their products but also Promote Made-in-Ghana agenda (Wear, Eat, Feel and See Ghana). This event will foster domestic entrepreneurship and enhance the competitive advantage of towns and communities in the region.

Volta Trade Fair 2019 seeks to invite potential businesses or Innovators in the informal and formal sectors that are into the production of Made-in-Ghana products and services e.g tailors, Seamstress (Fashion designers), architects, estate developers, goldsmith, local dish cooks, etc.  This initiative will help create the niche for specific industries to showcase and demonstrate their products, services, study activities and examine recent market trends and opportunities in the Volta Region.

This event will also engage stakeholders such as, Chiefs, Members of Parliament, Trade Ministry, Tourism Ministry, and Chief Executive Officers Etc. to join in the campaign of promoting “Made-In-Ghana” Products.
