Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Keta goes official to mark their 2018-2019 SRC Week Celebration
The Nursing and Midwifery Training College Keta has commenced their SRC week celebration with the theme,””Curbing teenage pregnancy: the role of the student nurse/midwife”. The program started from the 13th of March, 2019 and will last through to 24th March, 2019.
The 13th of March, marked the launching day and on the 15th, there was a massive float in which students of this Noble Institution held placards with infos educating the public on teenage pregnancy from ketabusco Junction through the principal town of keta to their new campus at keta.
The attendance was great and massive. On the 16th, was the SRC week games at ketasco park with the final year students(D3) emerging as the overall winners as the second years came second and the first years taking the last position.
On the 18th of March,marked blood donation, cook art (guys) and the attire is office wear. Many students expressed their joy as they enjoy every bit of the programme outline. Its actually a nice sight to behold as Nursing Students go official😄.
Many can’t just Wait to partake in the upcoming activities. Right from here, the guys on class basis,will be involved in a cook art. It will be mega. On the 19th March,we have clean up exercise, health education (on teenage pregnancy in the various basic schools in the municipality) and in the evening we have borbor night and the attire is SRC lacoste.
On the 20th of March, we have debate, gospel rock show and the attire is old school & school cloth. On the 21st March, the school will vote for new executives and the attire is traditional wear.
On the 22nd of March we have friendly match with ketasco and in the evening we have awards night and the attire is rep your club. On 23rd March, we have dawn trotting and in the evening we have pageantry show to crown the queen, the (Miss Nursing and Midwifery Training College Keta) and we will climax it all with a thanks giving Service at the school’s auditorium on the 24th of March 2019.
We’re looking up to a successful programme with full participation of students and the Public as we help Curb Teenage Pregnancy. Long live Ghana, Long live Keta Nursing And Midwifery Training College Keta, Long live the SRC.
