Kwesi Nyatakyi should have resigned when the rot under him was getting unbelievable – Kwabena Yeboah

President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), Kwabena Yeboah has expressed his disappointment in how the Former GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi conducted himself in Anas’s latest expose dubbed Number 12.

According to him, Kwesi Nyantakyi should have resigned when the rot in Ghana football  has gotten so deep into referees and administrators.

“ The rot was no longer getting funny, because week after week you would have to bribe your way through referees to win matches and the rot was getting unbelievable and we thought it was time for Kwesi Nyatakyi to move on.’’ He added.

Mr. Kwabena Yeboah who was speaking on Accra based radio station [Eezy Fm], believes embattled former GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi’s  unwillingness to move away from the GFA was key to his downfall .

The SWAG boss revealed that he had asked Mr. Nyantakyi to resign several times but the GFA did not heed to his call.

Mr Kwabena Yeboah who was also speculated to become the new interim GFA President said he wasn’t interested or ready to become the GFA President.
